Targeted enhancements to the SOF® Tourniquet allow for smoother and faster one-handed and two-handed application for highly effective hemorrhage control.

Its innovative design is the result of years of extensive research, materials testing, and end-user feedback on and off the battlefield to adapt it to ever-changing medical demands. The SOF® Tourniquet easily slides onto a limb as a loop or can be released at the buckle to encircle hard-to-reach areas, such as a trapped limb, without re-threading the compression strap.

When developing the SOF® Tourniquet, we asked our end-users about their specific experiences and the features most important to them. This feedback directly informed the tourniquet's construction, making it strong enough to withstand the world's harshest conditions, one-hand applicable with a single pull, and light enough to take anywhere.
